Vintage Original Oil on Canvas Painting of a Still Life by Frank Lean

Dated vintage, this 20th-century oil painting by Frank Lean features a warm, rich palette depicting traditional vanitas motifs that have been arranged into a classic still life composition. A lone violin rests on a sheet of music and serves as the focal point of the image and is accented by a pewter pitcher, a filled wine glass, and a feather quill in an inkwell. Set within an ornate, multi-layered wooden frame, this original painting is signed in the lower right hand corner of the canvas by the artist. In good to fair condition, with dust and wear consistent with age throughout. Please see photos for details.
