Vintage MCM Oil on Canvas Painting - "The Bar Flies" by Newland

Titled "The Bar Flies", this vintage oil on canvas painting depicts a whimsical group of clowning characters gathered around a circular table for a lively game of poker. A single overhead lamp illuminates the scene, casting a warm glow over a cluttered table which is filled with playing cards and stacks of poker chips. Executed with a rich, warm color palette dominated by earthy browns, yellows, and oranges, this painting utilizes expressive brushstrokes and a textured impasto technique to give a dynamic, playful energy, bringing this humorous card game to life. Framed in gold, this painting is been signed by artist in the left hand side of the canvas. In good condition, with some paint chipping and flaking noted throughout. Please see photos for details.
