Vintage Oil on Canvas Painting of a Mountain Landscape

Dated vintage, this landscape painting depicts a scenic wilderness with a dramatic, rugged mountain peak rising sharply in the background against a clouded sky. Lush green trees and evergreen pines border a calm body of water, while a few small, stylized figures add a touch of human presence to the vast setting. Housed within a classic, distressed dark wood frame, this original painting is signed illegibly by the unknown artist in the lower right hand corner of the canvas. In fair condition, with paint chipping and significant scratches and wear to the frame. Please see photos for details.
