Asking bid$1
Bidding ends October 29, 2026
Description
This vintage print, a reproduction of the scenic pastoral painting originally titled "Catching the Pony" by British artist Edward Killingworth Johnson (1825-1896), depicts a woman in a white apron coaxing a pony along a garden path, while two young children watch from a lush, flower-filled garden archway. Unsigned, this print is housed in a substantial, heavily carved wooden frame with detailed scrollwork borders, multi-tiered molding, and a double-matted protective mount. In good condition, with scratches and wear consistent with age throughout. Please see photos for details.
