Colt 1917 Army 45 ACP

Make: Colt Model: 1917 Army Caliber: 45 ACP Action: DA Barrel: 2.5 Bore: Bright Serial # 2697 Condition: Good Manufactured in 1917 as per serial number. This Colt Army Model 1917 was originally produced with a 5.5� barrel and at some point was customized into a 2.5�. The �CRP� stamped on the left side of the frame has no military or foreign designation and must have been done by the person that cut down the original barrel. It has a blued finish, �U.S. Army Model 1917 No 117081� stamped on the bottom of the grip frame, lanyard loop was removed, Colt DA 45 stamped on the left side and serial number on the bottom as well as on the inside on the front of the frame under the cylinder crane, fixed sights, 6 shot fluted cylinder, and walnut checkered grips. Includes 5 Moon Clips and tool. There is some slight freckling and scratches. Please see photos.
