1986 Statue of Liberty Centennial Commemorative Belt Buckle

Commemorative belt buckle for the 1986 Statue of Liberty Centennial. The front features a gold-toned rectangular buckle with a raised torch design on the left and a circular insert on the right depicting the Statue of Liberty's head, marked "AUTHENTIC MATERIALS" and "LIBERTY 1886 CENTENNIAL 1986". The reverse is marked "LIBERTY SYMBOL® © 1982 SLBEIF INC. MADE IN USA" and "© 1985 LESLIE MFG. INC.". The buckle is presented in a blue velvet-lined box with "MATERIALS IN COMMEMORATION OF THE RESTORATION AND REDEDICATION OF THE STATUE OF LIBERTY-ELLIS ISLAND A PRODUCT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" printed on the lid. A certificate of authenticity is included, stating the item is crafted from authentic materials from the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island National Monument.
