They Worked With Our Inuit Carvers And Exchanged Ideas And Skills. The Organizers, From The Museum In Moscow, Stayed In Our Home For The Duration And The Carvers Stayed In The Homes Of Some Of The Local People. We Saw Slides Of Their Homes, Work And Lives. They Lived In Yurts On The Land. They Were Allowed To Sell One Carving In Each Of The Communities They Visited. We Purchased The Billiken. We Visited With The Russian Carvers, Had Them All In Our Home For A Meal. We Found Out One Of The Organizers Dream Was To Own A Dishwasher, One Of The Carvers Dream Was To Own A Guitar. Since We Owned One Which Was Not Being Used We Gave It To Him.
