1907 & 1908 Silver 50-cent Coins

A pair of collectible Canadian silver (92.5%) Edwardian era coins.

Both circulated condition with good relief/detail remaining for the age of these coins; ungraded.

The pair represent a numismatic milestone with the change in the obverse Royal portrait changing alignment (1907 coin is aligned so that the coin would be flipped end-to-end, whereas the 1908 was the beginning of alignment so that the coin would be flipped side-to-side).

Note: 1908 was one of the lower mintage years.

Have been stored in an estate collection in plastic coin pouch doubly protected in binder page sleeves with larger coin collection.
