1871H Low Mintage Silver 25-Cent

Victorian silver (92.5%) 50-cent coin issued by the private Heaton Mint in England which were lower mintages than the coins minted by the RM and have numismatic interest.

This coin has some expected smoothing but there is still some vein detail in the leaves & the Queen’s crown, sharp lettering & numbers, and a nice patina.

Coin is stored in a plastic coin pouch and was part of a large estate coin collection.
