Two Decorative Wooden Baskets With Painted Designs

Two decorative wooden baskets. The first basket is octagonal, with a hinged wooden lid, brass hardware, a painted village storefront motif on all sides, and a yellow handle. Some surface wear and minor corner tearing are visible on the painted panels. The second basket is an oval-shaped woven wood basket with a swing handle, and a painted wood lid decorated with “Land of the Free, Home of the Brave” and birdhouse design.  A notable break is present in one section of the woven body.
