Original oil on board painting by noted Ohio artist Leslie Cope (1913–2002), titled “Breezy Uplands.” Depicts a herd of horses and foals in an open landscape beneath a dramatic sky. Signed “Leslie Cope” and dated 1978 in the lower right. Visible directional brushwork and painted surface throughout. An older handwritten label affixed to the reverse identifies the work as “Breezy Uplands,” Leslie Cope, 1978, and shows a price of $250. Board measures approximately 12” x 16” as marked on the reverse. Presented in a wood frame with warm rust-colored liner.
