Original oil painting depicting a pheasant flying across an autumn field in northern Indiana. Painted on a 16” x 20” Fredrix canvas panel and signed by the artist in the lower-right corner. The artist’s surname is difficult to decipher. Handwritten information on the reverse identifies the subject as “Pheasant in Northern Indiana” and notes Rolling Prairie, Indiana, June 1976. Colorful rural landscape with trees, fencing and fall foliage. Unframed. Shows surface dust, scattered marks, light edge wear and general wear from age and storage.
