Pressback Rocker, Cane Side Chair & Needlepoint Bench

Three pieces: an oak pressback rocking chair, a spindle-back cane-seat side chair, and a needlepoint-top bench. The rocker has a carved floral crest rail over seven turned spindles and a shaped saddle seat. The side chair has a shaped crest rail, four turned spindles and a woven cane seat panel set into the wood seat. The bench has a mahogany-finish frame with cabriole legs, a scalloped apron and side stretchers, and a needlepoint top worked with a yellow and orange floral spray on a slate-blue ground; the underside carries burlap webbing and a pencil inscription on the frame.
