1965 Mercury Comet Caliente. Original owner, with the original bill of sale dated June 1965. Full restoration completed in 2024, described by the owner as showroom condition. Restoration work includes new bumpers (Spectra Premium), a modified cam, battery, Edelbrock four-barrel carburetor, electronic starter and ignition (Powermaster/PerTronix), water pump, shocks, windshield, hood and tachometer. The brake system and lines, gas tank and fuel lines were replaced. Rear seat belts were installed, along with new tires and hubcaps and an additional brake light in the rear window. Rear springs were overhauled, with new springs added. Other work includes a complete new muffler and tailpipe system, front-end replacement, engine and transmission overhaul, and a new valve cover.
