1951 Pontiac Chieftan

Asking bidCA$500
Bidding ends September 20, 2026
Description
1951 Pontiac Chieftain 25 Series, three-owner vehicle originally purchased at Dickson Pontiac in Winnipeg. The original owner drove the car to Stonewall until approximately 2011, when it was purchased from the estate. Evidently, the original owner put the car in the barn every fall until spring, and supposedly the vehicle has never seen snow. It remained with the second owner until late last year and includes miscellaneous documents and the owner’s manual. The 25 Series Pontiacs were all Canadian manufactured in Oshawa but built as a near copy of the U.S. model to align with their sales model. Some included the 120-inch wheelbase, five inches longer than the basic models. Options include fender skirts, clock, wide chrome waterfall on the hood and trunk, child-friendly rear seat material, and a major and very rare Canadian option: an under-seat rear passenger heater. Two completed appraisals were done in 2012 at $7,500 and in 2026 at $22,500. 1948 to 1954 Chevrolet and Pontiac values are currently skyrocketing.,VIN 1251106814
