Millions rolled off the Izhevsk Arsenal (identified by a triangle-and-arrow stamp) as World War II broke out. It has a dark wood stock with scratches, dents, and dings as any battlefield pickup rifle should, It has a covered front and tangent rear sight, matching numbers on all but bolt, and an internal 5rnd magazine.
