Make: Enfield Model: No4 MK1 Caliber: .303 British Action: Bolt Barrel: 25 Bore: bright Serial # 35047 Condition: Good This Enfield No4 Mk1 is an iconic WWII-era bolt-action rifle chambered in .303 British. Officially adopted by the British military in 1941, models made in England were manufactured at government-run Royal Ordnance Factories (ROF) in Maltby and Fazakerley, as well as privately by Birmingham Small Arms (BSA) at Shirley. This example has been sporterized with a more hunting oriented stock and short forend. The only thing other than the stock that I see added is the rear peep sight insert. Other than that the barrel and receiver along with the front and tangent sights are still in configuration and the rifle can be changed back to original military configuration with a military stock. Includes 1 - 10rnd detachable magazine and a leather sling. Please see photos. C&R
