Archie has been used for penning, sorting, branding, doctoring yearlings, cattle drives, ranch rodeos, judged off at high school rodeo & pleasure riding in between. Ridden in both bosal and snaffle. He is strong, well built and reliable, this gelding is all business and ready to go to work. Archie has participated in cow horse clinics and various others. He’s become quite at home with helping us start young ones by flagging, ponying and setting a pace in front and behind at all gates. He is very responsive and athletic. Loads very well, stands while tied, is good with his feet. Can sit for months to even years and will be safe to pull out of the pasture. No buck, bolt or rear and safe to ride out alone. He will meet you at the gate, and fits in all herd types. Has been ridden by young beginners from being ponied out to some supervised rides. He has gears and is willing to put them to use so not advertising as beginner friendly.
