Vintage Paymaster Ribbon Writer Type 8000 cheque writer, made by The Paymaster Corp. of Chicago for the Canadian market, with 1967 Canadian patent marking. The original cover plate lists a price of $379.50 F.O.B. Canada, with branch cities Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver, and serial number 38N71813. The machine is in a white and pale blue finish with eight dollars and cents columns, locked protection feature, pull handle, side lever and key lock with key present. It comes with the original "The Paymaster System" vinyl dust cover and has the Paymaster warning decal on the base.
