1962 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible, sporting original drivetrain 390 V8, 4 speed automatic with power steering, power brakes, power windows, 6-way power seat, power antenna and power top. The odometer shows 19,319 miles but with 5 digits the true milage is unknown.  The Cadillac had been repainted about 20 years ago and was only recently put back together after sitting in garage storage.  There are a few chips and blemishes from long term storage, but the paint still shows very well.  The body is very solid and is believed to be all original to the car.  The footwell area of the floor had patch repairs done at the time of repainting.  The patches are well done, welded and seam sealed.  The rest of the underside, rockers, wheel well, trunk floor, etc. all look to be in very solid original condition.  The chrome is well above average condition, with rechromed front and rear bumpers, near perfect repolished body moldings (with the exception of a missing the lower LH rear quarter molding), NOS headlight bezels, very nice original wheels and hub caps.  The interior has been completely refreshed to stock.  New seats upholstery, new carpet, new arm rests.  The lipstick red interior is very well done and is set off with a new power convertible top that looks and functions well.    Engine runs well, has had recent fuel system clean and rebuild of stock fuel pump and carb.  The transmission goes into forward and reverse gear quickly and shifts well.  The brakes have had recent service, with new master and wheel cylinders.  The front suspension has been renewed with new ball joints, bushing, shocks, and tires.  All lights are working, headlights Hi and Lo beams, taillights and brake lights, LH and RH blinkers along with front side lights (with exception of the turn signal marker lights on top of the fenders, the LH is lens is missing).  All glass is clear and nice condition, power windows go up and down without issue, 6-way power seat moves in all directions, wipers function as they should.  The temperature gauge works, the fuel gauge is intermittent, and the clock is not working but correct twice per day.  The original radio and power antenna are in place but are not functioning.
