Here is a 2002 Honda S2000 AP1, finished in Spa Yellow Pearl and built around a seriously upgraded 2.0-litre F20C VTEC engine.

The engine was reportedly rebuilt with CP-Carrillo pistons and rods, Supertech valvetrain components, 2200cc injectors and a full supporting fuel system.

And the big story is the turbo setup — a Boostlab BL62X dual-ball-bearing turbo, T51R compressor inlet, HKS blow-off valve, Turbosmart external wastegate, front-mount intercooler and AEM Infinity engine management.

Backing it up is an AP2-spec 6-speed manual transmission with a limited-slip differential.

The car sits on 17-inch Enkei RPF1s with Godspeed coilovers, while the interior gets a Sparco Fighter seat, racing harness, Sparco steering wheel, NRG quick release and Hard Dog roll bar.

And you can't miss the hood-exit exhaust and wastegate setup — this is not a subtle S2000.
