Ansonia Clock Co. black slate mantel clock with an 1881 patent, made in New York, USA. Features a round brass bezel, Roman numeral dial, visible gears, gilt detailing, and amber-coloured glass accents. Measures approximately 12 inches tall, 15 inches wide, and 7 inches deep. Has engraved Ansonia movement dated June 13, 1881.
