This flooring is 8mm thick and Greenguard Gold certified (Best certification for indoor uses) for healthier homes. The product features an AC3 melamine wear layer impregnated with Aluminum Oxide for added durability. For installation below grade, over crawl spaces or on concrete, a moisture/vapour barrier is required. This may be provided as a feature of the underlayment or, in the case of an underlayment without moisture/vapour barrier, a 6-mil poly moisture/vapour barrier must be installed and sealed before the underlayment.
